During our first class one huge topic we learned about was some capabilities of AI. AI can be used in so many different ways but one tool we decided to use was the changing of texts. We wrote a self bio about our selves prior to the first class and was asked to put it into Chat GPT and see how it can regenerate into a new style of writing with the same information. So I decided to turn my self bio into a stand up comedy routine. I thought it would be something horrible and not funny but was surprised from the result. The entry to the routine that ChatGPT created was “Hey there, folks! Give it up for Hunter Rasmussen, the heavyweight wrestling sensation studying Construction Management at Roger Williams University! You know, that’s not just a major; that’s a lifestyle choice. Hunter’s out there building bridges and breaking opponents in half – the construction world’s ultimate multitasker!”. Although corny I thought it wasn’t bad. To find out that AI can have a sense of creativity was quite surprising and I’m only more interested in the other tools that can be used.
